OK for Diabetics?

“Are Punch’d Gummies OK for diabetics?”

We got this question early and often, and it used to scare us a bit.

You can’t plan for every customer question or reaction. Sometimes you don’t even realize that you did something good.

After some research and with this particular segment of customers trying them in moderation, we found out that our diabetic customers are very happy with Punch’d. They get very animated in their discovery and it makes us feel really good that we created a product that can help diabetics in their daily lives.

We weren’t planning for this, and really didn’t realize what we had done at first, but these were the two keys for people with diabetes:

  1. Regulate the amount of sugar for those people with diabetes or those that run the risk of developing diabetes. (~1g/Bear)
  2. Regulate the amount of caffeine for those people with diabetes or those that run the risk of developing diabetes. (10mg/Bear)

Before I explain any further, please understand that we are not doctors over here, we are natural food scientists and nutritionalists. Frankly this question still scares us a bit, but ultimately you are in charge of your health and well being and are a grown adult. Punch’d Gummies are a product created by Punch’d Energy Incorporated - Copyright 2017, All Rights Reserved. This article and any statements made have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease such as diabetes. If you are sensitive to caffeine, or pregnant or nursing please do not consume caffeine in any form without consulting a real doctor.

#1 GLYCEMIC LOAD. The first reason we feel good when people ask us this question is because a whole pack of Punch’d is only ~4 on the Glycemic Index (GI). That’s out of 100. That’s a pretty big deal, or extremely small, depending on how you look at it. Pure glucose is 100, we’re at 4. That’s very very low.

What this means is that diabetics can now enjoy a low glycemic load adult gummie packed with energy for a personal boost throughout the day or night in their lives. This is a big deal for us because we want the general adult public to be able to have a healthy alternative to energy drinks, energy shots and all those over-sugared sodas. We don’t want to continue to feed the diabetes problem, we want to be a natural, low sugar, low glycemic product that represents change.

#2 CAFFEINE. The other reason we’re excited to talk about our product for this use case is that there are misconceptions about caffeine and diabetes. Adding sweeteners and drinking extra large coffees can increase glucose and insulin levels. High sugar lattes and cappuccinos create a sugar rush in just about everyone, and that’s not a good thing. There is no sugar overload with Punch’d Gummies, just an even – mellow caffeinated feeling. This is ideal.

This means that you get to decide how many gummies you should take. Try 1 or 2, then regulate with a couple more, learn your body and learn how to best personalize your power. You get to create the precise amount of caffeine for any situation, one gummie at a time over time and most importantly piece of mind.

Clean Caffeine. Low Sugar. There’s nothing on the market as fun and fruity as Punch’d Gummies. Punch’d Caffeine Gummies can replace a cup of coffee, but yet don’t taste like coffee at all. Apple, Grape, Lime, Orange, Passionfruit and Peach real fruit gummies. You gotta try ‘em.  Use the coupon code: LowSugar in the store on PunchdEnergy.com and let us know how you use them. We would be glad to field any questions or comments.

We love providing something so unexpected, even to us. Imagine the sense of relief that those in need will feel when they hear of a product that they can consume safely.

As with everything, moderation is the best way. Try Punch’d Gummies responsibly.
